17.04.2011 - start of the tourist season

We have prepared an April’s special for you. A tour route containing the best of both tour routes we normally offer. During this tour you are to visit ground floor of Burgraviate, and its cellaring with authentic scaffolding which was used during the castle construction. Furthermore there is a castle exposition, where you will be familiarized with Charles IV. and his youth. The tour continues to the old castle palace from where you will step up to the west tower with an amazing view of Šumava and surrounding. Then you will pass through low floors of the east tower and gardens back to the courtyard.

Opening hours are every Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 17:00, last tour begins at 4:00pm.

Groups of minimum 10 tourists can visit the castle through the whole week. Guided tour can be arranged provided to an advanced reservation on tel. +420 376 582 324 or e-mail info@kasperk.cz. The tour admission is 75,- Kč a person for a tour in English excluding children under 6 years of age who pay 10,- Kč each.
